This hands-on comprehensive workshop will help you understand how accounting software can save you vital time and effort in organizing your business finances. Participants will learn how to set up a chart of accounts, pay bills, invoice customers, reconcile bank accounts, review the financial reports available and more. Accurate bookkeeping is essential to producing timely financial statements that reflect your company's financial strengths, thus facilitating the success of your business. A basic understanding QuickBooks Online is a prerequisite to this course. Attendees will enter information on provided laptops using practice sets and can ask questions and receive guidance. QuickBooks Pro 2021 version is used for this training.

Instructor: Heather Douglas, QuickBooks Pro Advisor.

Heather is the owner of Apprize Financial Solutions. She is QuickBooks certified and has owned her business for 4 years. She has a bachelor’s in accounting and more than 15 years of experience in the accounting industry. Her main goal is to help small business owners succeed.

Choctaw Tribal Members who own a business in or reside within the 10.5 counties of the Choctaw Nation Reservation may be eligible for a Choctaw Small Business Development Scholarship to pay for this training workshop. To qualify for the Choctaw Small Business Scholarship, please contact Lindsey Roberts lindseyr@choctawnation.com and 580-740-2491 to provide your date of birth for your Choctaw Tribal Membership verification purposes. Upon verification, you will be notified.
